The WG Foundation is always looking for new volunteers to support greater academic achievement for Willow Glen’s Middle School and High School. Learn local schools inside and out; meet regularly with school administrators; and make our schools better for everyone!

School Programs & Events – Student support, volunteer coordination, social events, test taking encouragement, teacher recognition. Our current teams are seeking shadows to be ready for the 2025-2026 year.
Teacher Appreciation Activities – Help us appreciate, celebrate, and show gratitude for our faculty and staff by signing up and providing treats! The goal is to provide treats every other week this year.
Assistant Treasurers – Financial deposits and expenses for operating units. Includes Allocations run by two volunteers as it is subdivided between Middle and High School. Seeking MS Allocations Shadow and HS Allocations replacement for 2024-2025 school year.
Treasurer – Role involves preparing reimbursements and other payments, doing the bookkeeping for all income and expenses, and preparing reports for the foundation meetings. The two best parts of the job include working with all the other volunteers, and seeing firsthand how the foundation is directly supporting the teachers and students at both schools in so many ways! Seeking a shadow for our treasurer during 2024-2025 school year to take the role.
Allocation Chair-A WGEF Board Position, serve as the spending allocation liaison between WGMS Administration and Teachers. This role can be managed remotely. Seeking a shadow for the WGMS Allocation Chair during the 2024-2025 school year to take over the role.
Scholarships– Spring commitment that helps alumni groups and donors connect deserving students with scholarships to help them finance their higher education experiences! Current need!
Bilingual Outreach – Volunteer and support across our diverse community. Current need!
